How to have ALL your sins forgiven, be GUARANTEED to go to Heaven, and have a RELATIONSHIP with God
John 3: 16 “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.”
God loves you so much. He loves everybody in the whole world. He is our creator. He loves us so much that he sent his Son Jesus. Jesus died with our sins and our punishment. He traded places with us. He carried our sin and punishment away, paying it fully, and completely destroying it forever. If anyone will receive it, Jesus is your savior. Jesus rose 3 days later to prove that he has power over death and that he has the power to give eternal life to whoever will receive it. God did not have to send his son, but he did because he loved us. God sent his son so that we could have eternal life. To have eternal life means to spend eternity with God, our creator. It is only because of Jesus that we can have eternal life. If God did not love us and if he did not send his Son Jesus, we could not have eternal life. If it weren’t for Jesus coming to the world, we would all perish – that means to die and not go to heaven. But we don’t have to perish, God says. God says we can have eternal life because of Jesus. But not everyone can have eternal life. Only those that choose to believe in Jesus can have eternal life. To believe in Jesus means to believe who he is and what he did for you and to trust in him to save you. You can not earn your own eternal life by works. It is only because of Jesus that you can have eternal life. Whoever believes in Jesus will have eternal life. That is the only way. Thank God he sent his son to give us eternal life!!
John 3:17 “For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world might be saved through Him.”
God did not send Jesus into the world to judge us. He sent him because he wanted to save us. Jesus died to save you. Because he loves you, he put more value on you than in his own life. He died for YOU. It is through Jesus that we are saved. We are saved from hell. We are saved from Judgment. Jesus was sent not to make sure we are judged for our sins, but instead to save us from judgment. He took the judgment away from us and saved us from hell.
John 3:18 “He who believes in Him is not judged; he who does not believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.”
If you trust in Jesus to save you, you will not be judged for your sins. Because you trust in Jesus, God will forgive you all your sins. Jesus will remember not even one sin. They are all washed away. He will not judge you.
But if you do not trust in Jesus to save you, you are judged already. You are guilty without Jesus. The name “Jesus” means, “God will save us.” God says we have to believe in the name of his Son Jesus. We have to trust that, “God will save us.” To trust, “God will save us” means you do not rely on yourself to save you. It means you rely on Jesus to be your savior. Jesus is the savior of the whole world. If we believe in him we will never be judged for our sins, and God promises us we do have eternal life. God loves us. Praise God for his love!
Romans 3:23 “for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God”
Without Jesus we have a problem. God says we have all sinned. Nobody is sinless. God says that because we sinned we are unable to see the Glory of God. It is sin that keeps us from heaven and that keeps us from eternal life. Everyone has sinned. So nobody can make it to the glory of God by themselves. Nobody can live a good enough life to see Glory. We need Jesus’ help to save us from our sins. We need Jesus’ help to go to heaven.
Romans 6:23 “For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
God says sin is dangerous. Sin has a cost. The result of sin is death. Sin isn’t just something we did, sin kills us inside spiritually. Sin violently changes our spirit and breaks our connection with God. Death means to be separate from God and to not have eternal life, which comes only from God. This type of death is eternal death .. eternal separation from God. Without God there is no spiritual life and not eternal life. God didn’t do this to us. Sin did this. BUT, God loves us and sent his son so we can have eternal life. God took away the cost of sin. God took away death. He gave us a free gift. This free gift is eternal life. This eternal life can only be found in Christ Jesus our Lord. It can not be earned. It can not be bought. It can not be gotten any earthly way. Only Jesus can give us eternal life. Jesus gives us eternal life as a free gift. We must trust in him, not in ourselves. We can not save ourselves. Only Jesus can save us. God says, only Jesus can give us eternal life in the heaven.
Ephesians 2:8, 9 “For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, so that no one may boast.”
God says you are saved through faith. Faith means trusting in Jesus. It means trusting in who Jesus is, trusting what Jesus did for you on the cross, and trusting in him only as your savior. Jesus is your only solution to forgiveness, relationship and eternal life. God loved you so much that he gave us grace. Grace means God showed you kindness and love and offers us help. We do not deserve to be saved. But God loves you so much. God was gracious to you. God gave us the gift of salvation. Salvation is a gift. God says we can not earn salvation. We can only receive salvation like a gift. We can not work hard to get salvation. Salvation is a gift of God’s love. We can not boast that we saved ourselves. We can not save ourselves. Good works will not save us. Only Jesus can save us! Thank God for his love and kindness. God loves you very much. God’s gift of love is eternal life.
A prayer to be saved:
God, I know you love me. I know I can’t earn my way to heaven. I believe Jesus is your Son and my Savior and he died on the cross to pay for my sins and rose again. Please forgive all my sins and save me. Thank you that you promised you would do it if I only trusted in Jesus and asked. Jesus you are my Lord, help me live for you! Thank you for making it so easy to be forgiven and go to heaven. Thank you for loving me always. I love you too. In Jesus name, Amen.
